Drywood Termites

Drywood Termite swarmers are dark-brown with smoky-black wings that have black veins. They are 7/16 of an inch long and have red-brown heads and thoraxes. The nymphs are cream-white with yellow-brown heads. The soldiers have large, rectangular, red-brown heads with massive jaws and light colored bodies. Colonies can usually be identified by the piles of grooved fecal pellets that collect below a 'kick out' hole.
Control: if the termites are accessible, a local treatment can be done, using a variety of different materials.  Fumigation will most likely be your best option for termites in inaccessible areas.  Heat Treatments, also called thermigations, are also available for drywood termite control.

Sub-terranean Termites

Colonies are usually located in the soil, from which the workers build mud tubes to the wood in structures on which they feed.
Control: Infestations may be unnoticed until the winged reproductives 'swarm' from the structure. A thorough inspection is necessary to determine the severity of the infestation and the location or the routes of entry. Our overriding goal is to provide a barrier between the colony in the soil and the wood in the structure and provide elimination with methods like trench and treat or slab injection by treating the colony directly.

Rodents

Rodents can can cause thousands of dollars to a home in just a few months. If left unabated the rodent will have several breading cycles and multiply rather quickly. Rodents pose an immediate health and safety hazard to the occupants. We offer live catch, trapping, baiting and removal. We will seal all entry points and make recommendations for cleaning and sanitizing the affected areas of the home or structure.

Bees, Wasps and Flying Pest

Bees wasps and flying pest can cause damage and even death to those that are allergic to their venomous sting. Small children are often the most affected by bee stings. Wood boring carpenter bees can eat up to one foot of 2x4 ever three months and a large colony can cause structural damage to a home if not removed. Bee hives can also be found in the walls and ceiling of homes. It is important that these pest be removed by professionals.

Ants

The most common of household pests is the Argentine Ant.  They are 1/8 inches long and light to dark brown in color.  These pests usually live in nests outdoors but are a major nuisance because they often forage indoors for food.  These colonies disperse in the spring in moist soil, in trees, under stones and under slabs.  They are very aggressive insects, completely eliminating other types of ant colonies in the area they colonize.

Cockroaches

Primarily there are three types of roaches. Oriental Cockroaches, American Cockroaches and German Cockroaches. Good sanitation practices and an aggressive pest management program will usually eradicate the problem.  Roaches can be a little more challenging to control because of their ability to quickly reproduce. They pose a heath risk to occupants. They contaminate food by leaving droppings and bacteria that can cause food poisoning, they also have been recently identified as a major contributor to allergies, asthma, and other breathing problems.

Pigeons

No doubt, one of the messiest nuisance pests around.  Just the fecal matter alone left behind by pigeons can cause disease and sickness and actually breed insects.  Pigeon activity at your home should be dealt with swiftly.  We offer a variety of different control methods including exclusion techniques, which includes, nets, spike strips, screening and 'hot foot' gels, where applicable.  Most of these products can be installed in a low profile manner and some are made to blend with the color of your home, while at the same time safely sending the nuisance birds somewhere else.  We would be happy to provide you with a free estimate. At Integrity Pest Control Solutions we provide expert advice in simple to understand language that helps our clients  understand the health risks and provide an ongoing solution to sustain a healthy environment
